Description

Býkev is located in the Mělník District, Central Bohemian Region. The town lies about five kilometers west of Mělník. As of 2011, there were 401 inhabitants.

Road Network

The interstate I/16 Řevničov - Slaný - Býkev - Mělník - Mladá Boleslav passes through the built up part of the village.

Railway

Though there is no railway in the main part of Býkev, on the outskirts of the village, there is the railway line 090 in the Kralupy nad Vltavou - Roudnice nad Labem section. The closest to the village is the railway station Vraňany at a distance of 3.5 km, located on the corridor line 090 from Prague to Ústí nad Labem.
