Description

Dańczów [ˈdaɲt͡ʂuf] (German: Tanz) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Lewin Kłodzki, within Kłodzko County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It lies approximately 2 kilometres (1 mi) east of Lewin Kłodzki, 26 kilometres (16 mi) west of Kłodzko, and 95 kilometres (59 mi) south-west of the regional capital Wrocław. Prior to 1945 it was in Germany. After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration according to the post-war Potsdam Agreement as part of the Recovered Territories. The native German populace was expelled and replaced with Poles from the Eastern Borderlands.
