Karle (Czech pronunciation: [ˈkarlɛ], German: Karlsbrunn) is a village and municipality in Pardubice Region of the Czech Republic located about 8 km west of Svitavy. It has a population of 395 (2007). [1] The first written mention of the village (Karelsprun) dates back to 1336.
