Description

Moravské zemské muzeum (Moravian Museum in English) is the second-largest and second-oldest museum in the Czech Republic. The museum was founded in July 1817. Its collections include over 6 million objects from many fields of science and culture. It is in Brno's Zelný trh (cabbage market), a very old and traditional square and open air food market.

Exhibitions

The museum has several exhibition spaces: Dietrichstein Palace - seat of the museum, Episcopal Palace of Brno, Palác šlechtičen, Pavilion Anthropos, Leoš Janáček memorial.
