Description

Stožice is a municipality and village in Strakonice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 400 inhabitants. Stožice lies approximately 24 kilometres (15 mi) south-east of Strakonice, 30 km (19 mi) north-west of České Budějovice, and 108 km (67 mi) south of Prague.

History

The first written mention of Stožice is from 1416.
